The Kenneth J. Chase Jr. Community Solar program allows residential customers to request up to 5KWdc participation in a 125KWdc solar array on the roof of the WMGLD Facility at 480 North Ave. At this time customers with solar on their roof are unable to participate in this program. For more detailed information on this program please click here to go to our dedicated Kenneth Chase Community Solar landing page.
Please note that filling out this form does not guarantee that you are accepted to this program, and depending on customer interest, you may not get the full KWdc that you are requesting below. This form is designed for the first round of sign-ups for this program. You should receive an email in early March with a time sensitive membership contract to sign, or a message informing you that you are on the waitlist. Selection is done on a first-come-first served basis and selection is conducted 1KWdc at a time to give the opportunity for the most amount of people to be a part of this program.
To qualify for the low-income please provide proof of financial hardship. Acceptable forms include, but are not limited to: Low Income Home Energy Assistance (LIHEAP) acceptance, Supplemental Social Security Income, Food Stamp eligibility, and Federal Tax Returns.
Please note that WMGLD reserves the right to require low-income qualified participants to provide proof at the beginning of each calendar year to ensure continued eligibility.
By clicking the "Submit" button, I certify that I do not own solar on the service address listed above and I understand that this form does not guarantee that I receive membership into the Kenneth Chase Community Solar Program.
