Up to $1,250 | Charger Curtailment Program
Rebate: Up to $650 for a Level-2 EV Charger (ChargePoint Home Flex).
Agreement: Customers must agree to a 3-year charging agreement, allowing WMGLD to reduce charging output during peak times.
Note: Rebates prevent participation in the EVM-TOU rate until the agreement ends.
Time-of-Use Separate Meter Incentive (EVM-TOU)
New Rate: Customers who install a separate meter for EV charging can get a Time-of-Use rate.
Rebate: Up to $1,250 for electrical work by a licensed electrician to install the meter.

Up to $8,000 | The Wakefield Gas and Light Department offers a residential solar program with rebates up to $0.80 per watt for approved projects. Important Disclaimer: Rebates are only available for existing construction. New construction, and renovations that trigger a HERS rating from the Wakefield Building Department, do not qualify for rebates. Additionally, items will only qualify for a rebate if they are new. Used, refurbished, or preowned items do not qualify.
